Over the last 15 years, the parade has grown from a small neighborhood parade to one of the most prestigious patriotic parades anywhere. The Parade has highlighted the sacrifices of our veterans, drawn attention to the truth that freedom is not free and shown support to our veterans who have protected those freedoms through service.
A community picnic will follow the parade at the Anthem Community Park softball fields. The picnic will feature live music from David Voss and Big Country Band, food for purchase, inflatables, games, vendor booths, and the Anthem Rotary club beer garden.
Tournament play for the 6th Annual Charity Cornhole Tournament begins at noon. Pre-registration is required: https://charitycornhole2019.eventbrite.com
Residents are welcome to bring in picnic lunches, water and soft drinks, but no alcoholic beverages or glass may be brought into the picnic area. Residents are encouraged to bring in chairs and/or blankets as there will be no seating provided.
