Job Description

Temporary Hourly Opportunity: Placement Testing Assistant

Department: PVCC at Black Mountain

34250 N 60 th  Street, Scottsdale AZ (Carefree Hwy & 60 th  Street)

Hours: Not to exceed 25 Hrs per/Wk (No Benefits)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12:30pm – 5:30pm (During peak times until 6:00pm)
Hourly Rate: $12.42
Benefits Eligible: No

Job Summary: 
Provide customer service at the PVCC at Black Mountain campus in the area of placement testing and
computer assistance. Administers college placement testing for incoming students. Proctor instructional
testing. Assist instructors with classroom equipment/software problems as needed. Provide assistance and
set-ups as necessary. Assist in the office as needed

Qualifications: Experience on both Mac and Windows computers preferred.  Knowledge of Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.  Must be a good communicator with a courteous and
professional attitude.  Must have the ability to take work direction yet to work well independently.

The budget for this position cannot support regular overtime, blended overtime, or an increase to existing
employee benefits. This is an at-will, temporary position.
